The National Health Mission (NHM) was introduced by the government of India in 2013 by merging the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) and the newly launched National Urban Health Mission (NUHM). It was later extended in March 2018 and will continue until March 2020. The NHM aims to strengthen the healthcare systems in rural and urban areas, focusing on reproductive, maternal, neonatal, child, and adolescent health (RMNCH+A), as well as communicable and non-communicable diseases. Its ultimate goal is to ensure universal access to affordable, equitable, and high-quality healthcare services that are responsive to the needs of the people. The NHM is currently seeking applications for various posts, including Staff Nurse, on a contract basis under the National Health Mission in Kasaragod. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for Arogyakeralam Recruitment through an online application process.
