Kerala State Road Transport Corporation SWIFT, or K-SWIFT, was established on November 9, 2021, by the Government of Kerala to operate long-distance buses and address the financial challenges of KSRTC. To support its formation, five temporary senior manager positions were created, and the responsibility of collaboration with K-SWIFT was assigned to the KSRTC CMD.

Currently, KSRTC has announced job openings for Drivers and Conductors as part of the KSRTC-SWIFT Recruitment 2023, specifically for the position of Driver-cum-Conductor in KSRTC-SWIFT Ltd.

Age Limit

Drivers and Conductors should be between 21 and 55 years of age as of the application submission deadline.

Salary

For Drivers and Conductors, in accordance with Government Order dated 09/07/2019, S.U.(Print) 81/2019/Finance No., the wage structure is as follows: A fixed rate of Rs. 715/- is set for 8 hours of duty, with an additional overtime allowance of Rs. 130/- per extra hour worked.

Qualification

Driver Requirements:

- Applicants should possess a valid heavy driving license in accordance with the MV Act 1988.

- A minimum of five (5) years of driving experience with heavy passenger vehicles containing more than thirty (30) seats is mandatory. Proof of work experience should be provided through the Motor Vehicle Workers Welfare Fund.

- Submission of either an issued roll number or copies of work experience certificates from government institutions is required.

Conductor Requirements:

- Candidates must hold a conductor license as per the MV Act 1988.

- A 10th-grade certificate from a recognized board or institute is a prerequisite.

- A minimum of five (5) years of work experience as a conductor in a prominent bus transport organization is necessary. Proof of work experience should be provided through the Motor Vehicle Workers Welfare Fund.

- Submission of either an issued roll number or copies of work experience certificates from government institutions is required.
