Qualification
To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following
requirements:
1. Successful completion of Standard VII or an equivalent qualification.
2. Possession of a valid Motor Driving License for both Light Motor Vehicles
and Heavy Motor Vehicles, along with a Driver's Badge. For Heavy Motor Vehicle
Driving License, it should have a minimum of 3 years of standing. If the
Driving License was issued after 16.01.1979, a separate endorsement to drive
Heavy Duty Goods Vehicles and Heavy Duty Passenger Vehicles is necessary.
Importantly, the Driving License should remain valid throughout all stages of
the selection process, including the date of application, the last date for
application receipt, examination, practical test, interview, and the date of
appointment.
3. Meeting specific medical fitness criteria, which include:
(i) Perfect hearing in both ears.
(ii) Eye conditions:
- Distant Vision: 6/6 snellen
- Near Vision: 0.5 snellen
- Normal color vision
- No night blindness
(iii) Muscles and joints should be free from paralysis, and all
joints should have unrestricted movement.
(iv) The nervous system should be perfectly normal, and there
should be no infectious diseases present.
