District Hospital Tirur is a 783 bedded multi speciality hospital and is one of
the most well-equipped government hospitals in Kerala. General Hospital
Ernakulam is the first Government hospital with NABH accreditation and FICCI
award 2012 in Kerala .The hospital was started in 1918 by the Maharaja of
Cochin.
