Age Limit
The age criteria for the applicants are between 18 to 30 years as of 1st July 2023. The normal age limit can be relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates, for the vacancies reserved for them. Government servants can avail of age relaxation up to 40 years, as per the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government. Age relaxation for reserved categories will be considered based on the relevant caste certificates submitted in the prescribed format for appointment under the Government of India.

The eligibility criteria for the positions are as follows:
(i) Candidates must have either of the following qualifications:
- A Certificate in the respective trade from a Technical Institution recognized by the Government.
- Passed VIII Std. (8th grade) with one year of experience in the respective trade.
(ii) For the post of Motor Vehicle Mechanic, applicants should have a valid Driving Licence (HMV) that allows them to drive any vehicle in service for the purpose of testing.
