The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has issued a fresh recruitment
notification offering 06 vacancies for the position of Staff Nurse Grade-II.
The main responsibility of the Health Services is to deliver comprehensive
primary health care services. The KPSC is an organization established under
the Constitution of India, responsible for selecting candidates for civil
service positions in the state of Kerala based on their merits and reservation
guidelines. The KPSC's headquarters is located in Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram.T
he Department's core activities revolve around preventive and promotive health
care, alongside routine curative services and rehabilitation aspects of health
care. These activities encompass establishing and maintaining medical
institutions with necessary infrastructure, controlling communicable diseases,
providing Family Welfare services including Maternal and Child Health
Services, and implementing National Control / Eradication programs. The KPSC

Age Limit
Applicants must be within the age range of 20 to 39 years to be eligible for
this post. Only candidates born between 02.01.1984 and 01.01.2003 (both dates
inclusive) are permitted to apply for this position, including any relaxation
as per para 2(i) of the General Conditions.

Qualification
To be eligible for the Staff Nurse Grade-II position, candidates must meet
one of the following criteria:
1. Successful completion of Plus Two / Pre-degree with science subjects,
V.H.S.E (with science subjects), or V.H.S.E in Domestic Nursing from a
recognized University or its equivalent.
2. Successful completion of B.Sc Nursing from a recognized University or
General Nursing and Midwifery course with a duration of at least 3 years
from a government-recognized institution.
3. Possession of a Certificate of Registration with the Kerala Nurses and
Midwives Council as Nurse and Midwife (for female candidates) or as Nurse
(for male candidates).
