Age Limit
As of 22nd August 2023, the upper age limit for UR & EWS category candidates applying for the HAL Recruitment is 28 years. However, there are certain relaxations in the upper age limit:

- Persons with Disabilities (PWD): 10 years relaxation (15 years for SC/ST PWD and 13 years for OBC PWD)

Note:
- AMIE courses from the Institute of Engineers (India) in the respective disciplines mentioned above are eligible. Candidates with AMAeSI course from the Aeronautical Society of India, New Delhi (under Aeronautical discipline) and Grad IIIE course/s from the Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering, Mumbai (under Production discipline) can apply.
- Candidates with an Engineering Degree in any other Discipline/Branch of Engineering not listed above are not eligible to apply.
Application fee
The Application Fee for HAL Recruitment 2023 is Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only), which includes GST. However, candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD/ Internal categories are exempted from paying the Application Fee.
